An Urban Oasis

Description
Tucked away just steps from the suburban bustle of Orléans in Ottawa, Princess Louise Falls cascades beautifully over layers of limestone and shale. Right at the base of the falls, the historic concrete ruins of an old road culvert stand framed by vibrant summer foliage, offering a unique glimpse into how nature and early city infrastructure intersect. Catching the afternoon light piercing through the dense canopy highlighted the delicate, curtain-like flow of the water. My happy place close to my home! Can Geo Photo Club Member of the Month
